With the Next Galaxy S24 Series, Samsung Hopes To Outdo Apple With Features Like Titanium Frames and Gen AI.

Ahead of its rumored January 17, 2024, Galaxy Unpacked launch in San Francisco, Samsung’s whole Galaxy S24 lineup has leaked. This is not the first time—and it won’t be the last either—that new information has surfaced that supports earlier rumors, particularly those about the design, and adds a ton of new details to round out the picture, providing us with a “detailed” overview of what’s anticipated. Nothing is left up to the imagination.

The most notable feature of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is undoubtedly its titanium frame, which is a necessary addition to directly compete with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max versions. It is reasonable to anticipate an all-around flat chassis because the general appearance appears to be unaltered. There will be four different color options for the S24 Ultra: titanium black, titanium gray, titanium violet, and titanium yellow. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus would also be flat, but its sides and edges would be slightly more rounded—again, similar to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Here, aluminum is allegedly used by Samsung. There are supposedly three color options for the S24 and S24 Plus: Onyx Black,

Another noteworthy development is Samsung’s emphasis on artificial intelligence, which is not surprising given that the business has already disclosed its Galaxy AI experience, which is built on an internal Gauss LLM. It is almost certain that Samsung’s AI Live Translate Call function, which enables users to get real-time voice and text translations during phone conversations using the company’s native phone app, will be included in the Galaxy S24 series.

The leak explores the phones’ hardware as well (via Windows Report). The Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 are expected to have 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz and 6.2-inch FHD+ 120Hz screens, respectively, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have a 6.8-inch QHD+ 120Hz display. The Galaxy S24 could launch with Samsung’s Exynos 2400 in select areas, while the Ultra is said to include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12GB of RAM overall. Up to 8GB of RAM is rumored to be available in the S24, compared to up to 12GB in the S24 Plus. The recommended storage configurations for S24 Ultra, S24 Plus, and S24 are 256GB/512GB/1TB, 128GB/256GB/512GB, and 256GB/512GB, respectively.

It is anticipated that the S24 Ultra will include four cameras on its back: a 12-megapixel ultrawide, a 50-megapixel 5x telephoto, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and a 200-megapixel main. It is rumored that the 50-megapixel main, 12-megapixel ultrawide, and 10-megapixel 3x telephoto configurations would be the same for the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. It is anticipated that all three phones will include a 12-megapixel selfie camera.

Regarding battery capacity, the S24 Plus and S24 are said to have a 4,900mAh and 4,000mAh battery, respectively, while the S24 Ultra is supposed to have a 5,000mAh battery.

Additionally, according to the Windows Report, Samsung’s next Galaxy S23 series phones will have more sophisticated cooling, with the S24 Ultra reportedly having a 1.9x larger vapor

greater than that of the S23 Ultra.

Keep checking back for further developments.
